Taziri (2015)

Here, on stage, following on from the recording Rives marocaines, Titi Robin continues his collaboration with the very talented young Gnawa musician Mehdi Nassouli, who is also heir to a strong South-Moroccan Berber culture. Together with Ze Luis Nascimento and Francis Varis, they share a moving musical and human complicity in compositions by Titi and fine improvisations by the quartet. Some of the pieces resulting from their work together – “Sahara”, for instance – are references stemming from the Rives project.
